Kingdom Wars

tick-tock goes the server clock!

Kingdom Wars is a massively-multiplayer online simultaneous turn-based strategy game (MMO-STBS).

Massively-Multiplayer: Like World of Warcraft, all players are present in the same virtual world, so there are no "matches" or "zones" to worry about. Just you, him, and the forest of n00bs in between.

Simultaneous Turn-Based: Unlike a traditional turn-based game, such as chess, in a simultaneous turn-based game, all players are utilizing their turn at the same time. The purpose of a turn is to regulate the amount of action that can take place during a given period of time, which facilitates a degree of fairness in the game, since not everyone is as quick on their feet. This makes it more fun for all players, since the really quick guys can rip their hair out trying to find the most elegant way to squish their enemies, and newer players can have a more relaxing time fending off invaders.

Strategy Game: Kingdom Wars is a strategy game, almost like chess, where you have strategic assets which you can manipulate independent of each other to accomplish your goals of absolute domination.
